EFTHIMIOS PARASIDIS
Efthimios is an experienced litigator and legal consultant who works closely with entrepreneurs and start-up companies with a focus on corporate and intellectual property matters. He served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of New York, under Eliot Spitzer and Andrew Cuomo, where he handled hundreds of cases in state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate levels. Efthimios began his career as an associate in the litigation group of Jones Day and later worked as a senior associate in the Intellectual Property group of Dickstein Shapiro. He is Professor of Law and Public Health at The Ohio State University, co-founded a health informatics start-up company, and is also a co-inventor on a patent application related to health information technology.
Efthimios earned his JD and MBE from the University of Pennsylvania, and a BA in Philosophy from The College of New Jersey. He is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, federal district courts in New Jersey and the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and federal appellate courts in the Second and Federal Circuits.
